CHELINDA

“The process is more important than the product”

My name is Chelinda Spector. One of my greatest goals is to play high level college basketball and that is something I work towards everyday. To give you a quick summary of the type of person I am, my family and the people I love are very important to me. They sacrifice as much as I do for me to compete in this sport at the level I want to. I am a Christian athlete, I try to get to church every Sunday. I am a high honors student. I am a competitor. Someone who is the epitome of hard work, tenacity, and grit. I work to get better everyday, I have learned to fall in love with the process. I have played many sports my entire life, but in 6th grade I discovered my love for basketball, and with that I found my desire to work hard and truly dedicate myself to not only a sport, but something greater: a lifestyle, a mentality, an art, and a future. I know I still have much to learn as a person and as an athlete, but basketball is my passion and I hope you see that in me when you watch me play.
